Payroll Specialist (m/f/d) - 6510

About us

Our client, an innovative and dynamic bio-pharmaceutical company headquartered in Switzerland, covering multiple therapeutic areas, committed into delivering products on the market over the next 5 years, is looking for a Payroll Specialist for a contract role until the end of 2025 (with possible extension or permanent role) based in Basel, Switzerland.

Tasks

• Administer the Payroll (data collection, data changes, entering new employee’s data, checking payroll data)
• Ensure payrolls are processed accurately, on time and in accordance with all federal, state, local and regulatory requirements
• Run the monthly payroll and process all the necessary work related to the monthly payroll
• Processing of salary continuation cases (Illness, Accident, Maternity Leave, etc.)
• Handle child and education allowances
• Assists in ensuring any regular finance, compliance and audit reporting as per agreed timescales.
• Assist with audits and reconciliations of payroll data as required.
• Other Payroll related activities as required

Profile

• Relevant Swiss working/residency permit and/or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.
• Bachelors in HR/Accounting degree or Diploma in payroll is preferred
• Min of 3 years’ experience in similar role (Payroll, Accounting etc.)
• In depth knowledge of the Swiss Social Insurance System
• Computer and software advanced user, SAP payroll experience is an advantage
• Fluency in German&English
